Not such a little fish

Little Fish and Look Both Ways were big winners in last night's AFI Awards, Australia's equivalent to the Oscars. As the ABC reports (here), Little Fish's Cate Blanchett was named best actress, Hugo Weaving was best actor and Noni Hazelhurst was best supporting actress. The best supporting actor gong went to Anthony Hayes for his role in Look Both Ways, which also won the best film award. Look Both Ways director Sarah Watt also collected gongs for best director and best original screenplay. Brisbane's Ray Barrett received a life achievement award.
