Out of the box

La Boite Theatre Company launched its 2006 season at the Roundhouse Theatre, Kelvin Grove, yesterday with the promise from artistic director Sean Mee (below with Nick Earls) of " two national tours, one international tour and a five-play subscription season about intimacy". The mainhouse season comprises David Williamson's Operator, Janis Balodis's Perfect Skin (based on the Nick Earls novel), Johnno (based on the David Malouf novel), Shaun Charles's Last Drinks (based on the Andrew McGahan novel) and a series of short plays under the tile Sex: Cubed.
